Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms govern access to QR Lifecycle, QRMUX and related websites, dashboard features, QR routing tools, analytics and support services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts and Organizations

You are responsible for your account credentials, organization users and activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it current. Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing team access.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to route QR codes to illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, malicious or privacy-invasive content. You may not interfere with the service, bypass plan limits, probe security, send spam, distribute malware or use QRMUX redirects in a way that misleads scanners about the destination or sender.

QR Codes and Destinations

You are responsible for the destinations, claims, promotions and materials connected to your QR codes. Printed QR codes can remain in circulation for a long time, so you should keep fallback URLs and routing rules current. We may suspend redirects that violate these Terms or create security, abuse or reliability risk.

Plans, Trials and Limits

Plan features and limits are shown in the product and may change over time. Starter plans include limited free use. Trials may be limited to one per organization and can expire automatically. When a trial or paid plan ends, premium routing or analytics features may stop working and QR codes may fall back to permitted Starter behavior.

Payments and Stripe

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By starting a paid plan, you authorize Stripe and QR Lifecycle to charge the payment method on file for recurring subscription fees, applicable taxes and permitted adjustments until you cancel. Stripe handles payment method collection and processing, and Stripe's terms may also apply to your payment activity.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You can manage payment details and cancellation through the billing portal when available, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges. Refunds, credits and plan changes may be handled case by case unless required by law.

If payment fails, a subscription is disputed, or a charge is reversed, we may downgrade, suspend or limit the account after reasonable attempts to resolve the issue. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts.

Customer Content and License

You keep ownership of your QR names, URLs, routing rules, campaign content and similar customer content. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, route, display and analyze that content to provide and improve the service.

Availability and Changes

We aim to keep redirects reliable, but the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, impose fair-use protections, perform maintenance or change plan packaging.

Third-Party Services

The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, email, newsletters, payments and destination websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites or content outside our control.

Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay required fees or use the service unlawfully.
